Today I want you to think of a couple of things (which I will talk about in class, but you can use this post as a reference/check sheet).
First, I want you to consider the power of YouTube. I want you to post your final remixes on YouTube for a reason. If you have time today, here are two stories, which I think may impact you (and there are probably thousands of others).
An 8 year old girl makes 127,000 a month making baking videos on YouTube
1. What are ways that you can enhance your video on YouTube?
Do you want your video to be posted in the YouTube Commons for resharing/remixing?
Go to Video Manager and then see below… easy peasy!
Do you want to write something in the “About” for your video? I found out that you cannot embed a hyperlink to text, but you can create a “linked URL” – although sometimes those are ugly. Here’s a clear tutorial to help you.
WHEN YOU’RE DONE, PLEASE POST YOUR VIDEO HERE!!!!
If you are done with time to spare, please fill out Criterion Aiv. What changes did you make from your planning & storyboard.
Next class you will share your video with your classmates, teachers and family to get feedback on your remix videos.
